Job summary

HealthTrust Supply Chain, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Lead Pharmaceutical Handler to oversee outbound shipments and inventory control at our Nashville-area facility. You will manage the shipping desk, ensure QA processes, and coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to drive accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

You will lead Pharmaceutical Handlers, manage cross-dock freight as needed, and ensure safe, organized warehouses with regular cycle counts and semi-annual counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ direct warehouse experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Parallon experience preferred.
• Prior computer experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Shipping Desk, including Wave Building, Maintaining Wave Log, printing and separation of orders by facility, and shipping all waves.
• Implement and oversee the Quality Assurance (QA) process.
• Provide quality reports to Warehouse Supervisor and give feedback to Warehouse Staff.
• Assign and direct work tasks for Pharmaceutical Handlers.
• Process outbound cross-dock freight as necessary.
• Help direct the workflow in the shipping area by setting priorities and meeting deadlines for the shipping function.
• Prepare goods and shipping documents for outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload palletized shipments and returned totes/products from inbound/outbound shipments.
• Keep receiving area, warehouse shelves and aisles clean, organized and free of hazards and obstructions.
• Maintain material handling equipment and report any potential problems.
• Perform cycle counting as required.
• Perform physical inventory counts during semi-annual inventory.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Lead Pharmaceutical Handler, you will be responsible for processing all outbound shipments from the warehouse and replenishing product that has been received into its assigned stocking location. You will be responsible for processing, picking, packing, staging and shipping of all customer orders as well as inventory accuracy.

What Qualifications you will need in this role:
