Job summary

Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to perform pharmacist functions under supervision and in accordance with state law and Mercy standards. The role is part-time, PRN, based at Mercy Hospital - Oklahoma City (W Memorial Rd).

Education: graduation from an accredited school of pharmacy; licensure eligibility and boards passing on first attempt are required. Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must be graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Hospital Pharmacy experience preferred.
• Licensure: license eligible in the state and pass boards on first attempt.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical pharmacist duties under supervision and in accordance with laws and Mercy standards.
• Support medication-use processes and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize therapy.

Overview:

This position is responsible for performing the Clinical Pharmacist functions, under supervision of a pharmacist, as prescribed by law and regulation for the state of practice and in accordance with the objectives, planning, and directives assigned to the areas of responsibility assigned by the Director. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Requires graduation from accredited school of pharmacy.
• Preferred Experience: Hospital Pharmacy Experience.
• Licensure: Must be license eligible in the state of practice and take the exam the next available time. To be eligible for the position, the applicant must pass the boards the first time.
