Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Grad Intern in Greenwood, MS to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will learn to protect patient privacy, assist with prescriptions and OTC orders, and deliver patient care while supporting pharmacy operations.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in the final year of an accredited pharmacy program and committed to best practices, customer relations, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Strong ability to foster relationships with customers and pharmacy team.
• Committed to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Able to manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and records according to Company policies, and local, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Help with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by recognizing the patient, assessing their needs, and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise/supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
