Job summary

Walmart Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Grad Intern in Hillsboro, TX to gain hands-on experience in patient care and community health. You’ll learn to support clinical therapies, handle prescriptions, and uphold confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines in a busy community setting.

As part of our pharmacy team, you’ll help process prescription and OTC orders, stock merchandise, and foster strong relationships with customers and colleagues while supporting safety and compliance across all policies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
• Ability to process prescriptions and OTC orders.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of information and records according to policies and regulations.
• Help with processing prescription and OTC orders and purchases.
• Deliver patient care by assessing needs and guiding clinical therapies.
• Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
