Job summary

Guardian of the Heartland, part of the Guardian family, seeks a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician I in Springfield, MO. Under a Registered Pharmacist, you will fill and package prescriptions for delivery, ensure accuracy, and uphold production standards.

You will support inventory control, adhere to regulations, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and timely service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED as required by state.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification preferred (PTCB).
• 1+ years of related experience or equivalent skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and pulling appropriate prescriptions from inventory.
• Apply labels to medication packaging, scan and assemble into bins accurately and timely.
• Alert pharmacist on duty to any scanning issues.
• Participate in training to gain proficiency in other Fulfillment workflow areas.
• Communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate supply for all orders.
• Maintain inventory levels, remove expired meds, and keep stock neat; assist in physical inventory.
• Meet established accuracy and productivity goals.
• Collaborate with supervisors to keep workflow smooth.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workstation; replenish stock.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws governing dispensing of meds.
• Other duties as assigned.
