Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program is required and licensure with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy.

• No pending felony charges or convictions involving controlled substances.

Responsibilities

• Assist in counting, labeling, and packaging medications for pharmacist verification.
• Ensure supplies are included with prescription orders.
• Review printed labels and organize orders for delivery or pickup.
• Restock vials, lids, and other supplies as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and alert staff of low stock items.
• Process incoming shipments and sign invoices.
• Answer calls and direct customers to a pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain patient privacy and data confidentiality in all tasks.
• Assist with general pharmacy upkeep and workflow improvements.
