Job summary

The Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician is responsible for preparing, filling, and distributing prescriptions according to client orders/specifications, maintaining equipment and inventory in the pharmacy, and record-keeping related to patient and drug information.

The successful candidate must be licensed in the State of Florida and adhere to HIPAA, privacy laws, and all company policies while ensuring accurate, timely pharmaceutical support in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Indiana license required or commitment to complete technician training within one year of hire.
• Prior pharmacy tech experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in reviewing, processing, preparing, filling, labeling, and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Communicate with LKP representatives to ensure medication compliance and inventory coordination.
• Follow HIPAA and privacy laws and company policies.
• Maintain prescription logs and related records.
• Assist Inventory Specialist with expiration date review and disposal of outdated medications.
• Perform QA checks on automated pharmacy equipment and shipping requirements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work site.
• Perform routine and professional pharmacy functions.
