Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist for the Central Fulfillment Center in Ridgefield, WA. This role works on a 40-hour a week schedule, in a fast-paced pharmacy production environment, handling prescription order processing, inventory receiving, scanning, sorting, and shipping using automated equipment.

You will join a team focused on accuracy, safety, and timely delivery, with shifts on Sundays through Thursday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Assistant License in Washington is required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a retail or fulfillment center environment.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.
• Assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers (i.e. completed prescription orders) for delivery to stores. These are non-technician tasks to support central fill operations.
• Maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.
• Organize totes on pallets to prepare for shipment. Works with transportation partners to ship completed totes to stores.
• Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions. Escalate technical and workflow issues as needed.
• Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
• Assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations as needed.
• Create and maintain documentation as requested.
• Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits.
• Other duties assigned are concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.
