Job summary

Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a PFC Pharmacy Support Sortation associate to operate in a fast-paced central fill pharmacy environment in Kansas City.

You will package prescriptions into totes for delivery after pharmacist verification, support tote swaps, and ensure shipping accuracy. Daily duties include loading totes onto couriers, maintaining stocked pharmacy supplies, and collaborating with teammates to deliver excellent customer service while complying with Hy-Vee policies and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Must follow written, verbal or diagrammatic instructions.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.
• Physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Must maintain confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Place prescription bags into a tote for delivery after pharmacist verification.
• Swap totes between waves.
• Verify prescriptions in totes for shipping accuracy.
• Assist loading completed totes into courier vehicles.
• Place totes along sorter line and maintain workflow.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Prepare paperwork and compile medicine for delivery orders.
• Clean and maintain work area and supplies.
