POLARIS PHARMACY SERVICES OF MISSOURI LLC is seeking a Pharmacy EDK Technician to maintain EKIT inventory, restock EKITS, and ensure medications are properly prepared and verified by a pharmacist. The role supports long-term care and other pharmacy services in a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, pharmacy technician certification per state rules, and preferably prior pharmacy experience, especially in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations and state of practice.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred).

Responsibilities

• Restock EKITS daily and update expiration dates.
• Remove soon-to-expire medication and replace as needed.
• Build new EKITS as needed.
• Periodically check EKIT shelves for expired drugs.
• Provide a list of items to be ordered to purchasing.
• Pre-package medication and products manually.
• Ensure pre-pack log is completed after packaging.
• Ensure all pre-packed EKIT inventory is pharmacist-verified before shelving.
• Follow HIPAA and government regulations.
• Maintain clean/organized workstation and replenish stock each shift.
• Alert pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
