Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy, part of CVS Health, is hiring a Delivery Driver to transport prescription orders to long-term care facilities and patients’ homes on a predetermined route using a company vehicle.

No professional driving experience is required, but a valid driver’s license and reliable customer service are essential. The role offers competitive pay, benefits starting on day one, paid training and opportunities for career advancement within the Omnicare network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Geographical knowledge of service area is important.
• Flexibility including nights and weekends.
• Current, valid driver’s license for vehicle operation.
• Ability to drive for long periods and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies to long-term care facilities or patients’ homes.
• Load products/materials into delivery vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle and report maintenance issues.
• Comply with all Federal, State and Local laws and HIPAA regulations.
• Maintain professional and ethical standards and protect patient confidentiality.
