The role involves loading, unloading, packing, and testing medications, while ensuring safety standards and DOT compliance. The position offers a structured shift pattern, with regular early morning hours, holiday/weekend rotations, and opportunities for overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Minimum 18 years of age due to driving company vehicle.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; capable of long periods of sitting/standing while driving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology medications to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle.
• Package medications for shipment, perform testing, and load/unload containers as needed.
• Use a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information, and navigation data.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health

Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Shift/Schedule

• 40 hours weekly - Scheduled hours are typically Monday – Friday 4am –12pm
• Will also work in holiday & weekend shift rotations – (typically 1 holiday/year and 1-2 weekend days/month).
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours or overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• May require vendor credentialing
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
• Ability to use computers and tablets

Pay Rate: $18.10 per hour
