Job summary

Guardian Pharmacy of Maine in Brunswick, ME is seeking a delivery driver to support timely, accurate medication deliveries for our clients. You will work Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with patient privacy regulations while providing friendly, professional service.

The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and at least two years of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years driving experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Scan prescriptions into totes to ensure proper totting of product.
• Check totes for facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure.
• Deliver prescriptions accurately and on time on assigned routes.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with regulations.
• Collaborate with team and adapt to special circumstances.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and report needs.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm
• Pay: $18.50-$19.50
• Location: Guardian Pharmacy - 3 Business Pkwy, Brunswick, ME 04011

Work assigned routes with time sensitive delivery requirements. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely. Comply with Federal and Company privacy regulations regarding safeguarding of patient information.

Essential Functions (include the following)

• Scan prescriptions into totes to ensure proper totting of product
• Check totes for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure
• Present a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients at all times
• Work with other team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, advise supervisor of repairs/maintenance needed
• Follow instructions precisely related to patient privacy rules
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving experience
• Computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate

Work Environment

• Requires travel by ground
• Ability to work flexible hours
