Job summary

Medipack Pharmacy in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Data Technician to join our long-term care pharmacy team. You will accurately enter prescriptions, maintain patient profiles, and support an efficient workflow with pharmacists and other technicians.

Qualifications

Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
Current NC Board of Pharmacy registration in good standing is required.
Strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Accurately enter and process prescriptions, patient profiles, medication orders, and related pharmacy information.
Review pharmacy data for completeness and accuracy.
Process insurance and billing information and assist with resolving claim issues.
Maintain accurate patient, medication, and order records.
Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other team members to support an efficient workflow.
Assist with additional shift coverage when needed.
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements.
