Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida, part of Guardian Pharmacy, is hiring for an onsite Pharmacy Technician in Boca Raton, FL. You will enter prescriptions, verify dosages, triage faxes, and support the pharmacy's high-volume workflow while delivering compassionate service over the phone and in person.
The role requires a high school diploma, state licensure for Pharmacy Technician, and a preference for National Certification (PTCB).
Competenze
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Pharmacy technician license/certification/registration per state.
- National Certification (PTCB) preferred.
Mansioni
- Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system accurately.
- Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
- Maintain proper notes and cycle fill coding in the computer.
- Verify correct dosage based on prescriptions and communicate with doctors' offices as needed.
- Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and processing prescriptions when required.
