Job summary

Walgreens in United States (Washington) is seeking a customer-oriented team member to support pharmacy operations and deliver a friendly checkout experience. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, and help customers with products and services.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and experience in retail is preferred.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
Good math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, fair, friendly checkout service.
Assists pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
Provides customer service in the photo area and supports inventory management and displays; handles store merchandising and shelf preparation.
Trains and maintains PTCB certification and ongoing pharmacy knowledge; supports pharmacy department on workflow and compliance with policies.
