Job summary

Walgreens in Smithfield, NC is hiring for a part-time Customer Service Associate in our pharmacy department. You will greet customers, assist with products, operate a cash register, and provide friendly, efficient checkout service while supporting the pharmacist under supervision.

You'll help with pharmacy workflows, process prescriptions, handle customer questions, and maintain clean, organized store areas. Prior retail experience and willingness to work evenings/weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification training or active registration required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide assistance with products and services.
• Operate cash register to complete sales and handle transactions.
• Assist pharmacist under supervision with entering patient/drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and merchandised; maintain inventory records.
• Support pharmacy operations and participate in store tasks as needed.
