Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision and use pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information.
• Operate cash register, handle cash and returns, and assist with checkout when needed.
• Maintain clean, organized counters and shelves; support inventory management and price checks.
• Assist pharmacy staff with entry of patient data and verification of medications.
• Adhere to company policies, pharmacy codes, and quality improvement procedures.
