Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions and cash handling.
• Prefer good computer skills and familiarity with store systems.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy and uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolves issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Performs duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist including filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and assisting with workflow.
• Reports prescription errors to pharmacist on duty and adheres to company policies; complies with Good Faith Dispensing and Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Handles telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist and processes third-party claims; supports inventory management.
• Ensures compliance with state laws regarding regulated products; maintains displays and stock; assists with web pick-up and store maintenance.
