Job summary

The GIANT Company is looking for a front-line associate to assist customers at the register and on the sales floor. You will handle counter service, answer phones, and verify customer identifications for restricted products when needed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible for a background check.
• Must meet state minimum age and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to perform duties and follow safety rules.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and use the equipment provided for this job.
• Must meet performance standards and maintain regular attendance.
• Must wear properly assigned clothes and shoes for this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift.
• Help customers at the counter.
• Answer and assist with telephone calls.
• Verify customer identification for products when required.
