Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Pharmacy Coordinator – Oncology Services (Finance) at University Hospital in Madison, WI. The role is 100% FTE with a daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Hours may vary based on the department's operational needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians, nursing, and leaders to optimize oncology treatment and medication management, and will help build partnerships to support program

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
  • ASHP-accredited residency training preferred.
  • 3 years of health-system experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and operational leaders to develop and implement best practices for oncology treatment and medication management.
  • Foster strategic partnerships with regional oncology affiliates and external organizations to advance program growth and clinical integration and service excellence.

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pharmacy Coordinator - Oncology Services to:
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing, and operational leaders to develop and implement best practices for oncology treatment and medication management
  • Foster strategic partnerships with regional oncology affiliates and external organizations to advance program growth, clinical integration, and service excellence

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree Required
  • Completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3 years of health-system experience or completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program Required
  • 5 years of relevant practice experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Licensed as a pharmacist in Wisconsin within 90 Days Required
  • Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties, National Board of Nutrition Support Certification, National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers, Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board, etc.) Preferred
