Job summary

Montrose Regional Health in Montrose, CO is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor to lead clinical, operational, and regulatory aspects of our hospital pharmacy. You will oversee medication-use safety programs, antimicrobial stewardship, and integrate MEDITECH EHR content into medication workflows.

Collaborating with the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, you will mentor staff, ensure compliance, and drive evidence-based medication use across the organization.

Qualifications

• PharmD required from ACPE-accredited school.
• Colorado pharmacist license required.
• 3–5 years hospital pharmacy experience.
• Experience with antimicrobial stewardship and medication safety.

About The Career

The Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor provides clinical, operational, and regulatory leadership for pharmacy services. Working in collaboration with the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Operations Supervisor, this position oversees clinical pharmacy programs, medication-use safety initiatives, antimicrobial stewardship activities, smart infusion pump management, electronic health record medication content, and pharmacist supervision. The Pharmacy Clinical Supervisor serves as a clinical resource for pharmacists, providers, nursing staff, and hospital leadership to promote safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use throughout the organization.

All About You

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy required
• Current Colorado pharmacy license required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Experience with antimicrobial stewardship, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy services required.
• Experience with smart infusion pump drug library management preferred.
• Experience with MEDITECH order set development, clinical decision support, and EHR medication build preferred.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Board Certification (e.g., BCPS) preferred.
• ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency PGY1 preferred.
• Antimicrobial Stewardship Certificate or equivalent training required (on or after hire).
• ACLS certification preferred.
