Job summary
Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) is seeking a Pharmacy Claims Support Specialist to assist pharmacists and coordinators in resolving claims, pricing and coding inquiries. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate issue resolution and support medication management.
This hybrid role requires a Bachelor's degree or four years of health care/insurance experience, Certified Pharmacy Technician, strong communication skills, and proficiency with word
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related health care field or four years work experience in health care/insurance
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Managed care customer service experience
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and database software
- Drug information skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy coordinators in resolving claims and inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution
- Manage inbound calls and perform member and provider outreach
- Support population health initiatives and participate in data-driven improvement projects
