Job summary

Walgreens in San Jose, CA is seeking a Customer Experience Associate to greet customers, assist with products and services, and ensure a courteous, efficient checkout experience.

You will operate the cash register, process transactions, stock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and support pharmacy-related tasks as needed while upholding store policies and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Register purchases, handle cash, returns, exchanges, and refunds at the checkout.
• Assist customers to find items, suggest add-ons, and help with OTC products when applicable.
• Maintain clean and well-merchandised shelves and displays.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty as needed.
• Support store maintenance and comply with company policies.
