Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale and assists with OTC products.
• Operates pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status.
• Reports prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follows policy.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised; checks in and prices merchandise.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss.
• Complies with state and local laws for regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets as directed.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assists with store maintenance and maintains professional relations with coworkers.
