Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as Pharmacy Assistant is an asset.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.

• Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and confirm accuracy of prescription information prior to filling.
• Data entry of patient care information.
• Third-party adjudication (if necessary).
• Accurate dispensing prescription medications.
• Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems.
• Handling customer OTC enquiries and referral to Pharmacist where required.
• Handling customer prescription pick up.
