Curious about how pharmacy operations balance patient care, payer relationships, and business performance? As a Pharmacy Intern, you’ll work with the corporate pharmacy team to analyze data, uncover profitability drivers, and support strategic initiatives that strengthen pharmacy programs across the organization. This internship offers hands‑on experience turning analytics into real business recommendations within a fast‑moving healthcare and retail environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to: Business performance analysis package (profitability and/or margin drivers for an assigned focus area).
  • Contribute to: Reporting/dashboard output (recurring metrics with definitions and a simple insights layer).
  • Contribute to: Recommendations memo + final presentation (prioritized actions to support profitability/payer engagement).
  • Support as needed: Support business development project work and stakeholder coordination as assigned.

You will learn:

  • How pharmacy operations intersect with payer relationships, profitability, and strategy.
  • Using data to create actionable recommendations in a regulated, performance‑driven environment.
  • Executive communication and stakeholder alignment in healthcare/retail pharmacy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and capacity to work independently are essential.
  • Preferred majors: Pharmacy, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Data Analytics, or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and comfort with sensitive information.
Preferred:
  • Pharmacy or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
