Job summary

Highmark Inc. is seeking a strategic leader for Pharmacy Services to drive the development and execution of key initiatives. You will manage cross-functional projects in a highly matrixed environment, directing analyses, recommendations, and reporting to pharmacy leadership. Mentorship of junior staff is expected.

The role supports a hybrid or remote work arrangement; onsite attendance is required three days per week (T, W, Th) for those living within 50 miles of an office.

JOB SUMMARY

This job leads and/or participates in the development and execution of key strategic initiatives for Pharmacy Services. The incumbent engages in multiple cross-functional projects and will be expected to work in a collaborative, highly matrixed manner. Directs the opportunity analysis and outcomes reporting for pharmacy's strategic initiatives. In the course of contributing to these projects, the incumbent may be expected to fulfill many different types of roles, ranging from project leadership, problem-solving, data analysis and interpretation, providing recommendations, communicating project updates to the pharmacy leadership team and completing implementation tasks within the specified timeframe. Builds relationships with personnel in other business units of the organization, and will be expected to work with little to no supervision. Will likely play a supportive role in shaping the overall strategy and value proposition for Pharmacy Services and is also expected to serve as a mentor to less experienced members of the Pharmacy business team.

EDUCATION

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Economics, Healthcare or related field, or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree

• Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Economics or Healthcare.

EXPERIENCE

• 5 - 7 years Managed Care

Pay Range Minimum

$108,600.00

Pay Range Maximum

$180,600.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
