Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Washington state pharmacy technician certification.
• 2 years pharmacy technician experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite.
• Clear verbal, written, and in-person communication.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and unique duties within the pharmacy department.
• Determine benefit limits and secure insurance approvals for specialty infusions and high-cost medications.
• Complete and submit prior authorization forms and patient assistance applications.
• Prepare and present reports to Pharmacy Operations Manager or Director.
• Collaborate with care teams and Billing/Patient Financial Services.
• Maintain documentation in clear and concise formats.
