Onco360 is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Benefit Verification Specialist in Buffalo, NY. You will verify and load patient insurance details for pharmacy and medical coverage, coordinate benefits, and run test claims to secure valid reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED; experience in Pharmacy, Medical Billing, or Benefits Verification.
• Desired: Associate degree or equivalent; Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) or specialty pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance; PBM contracts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, review, and load accurate patient insurances (medical and pharmacy).
• Assign coordination of benefits; run test claims to obtain valid insurance responses.
• Identify authorization requirements for medications; enroll patients in copay assistance programs.
• Ensure accurate benefit documentation for prescription orders.
• Provide timely, accurate responses to requests from operations, providers, and patients.
