About the role

As a Pharmacy Associate at Mixlab, you’ll play an essential role in keeping our pharmacy operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly. You’ll support the preparation and fulfillment of customer orders, maintain clean and well-stocked lab workspaces, assist with inventory and equipment, and ensure packages are accurately prepared for delivery. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, resourceful, and takes pride in creating an exceptional experience for our pet parents and their animals.

What you’ll do

  • Labeling of packages with accurate delivery information and categorizing them appropriately
  • Constructs, lines, and pads cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
  • Removes defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling.
  • Assemble and fulfill daily orders which include and are not limited to, medications, toys, pet notes, how to use cards, and any other means of communication to our customers
  • Filling out packing and order forms with the relevant shipping information
  • Keeping the materials for packing orders neat and organized
  • Performs other related duties and delivering orders on an as needed basis
  • Set up and restock lab and hood stations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
  • Remove and wash used equipment
  • Review and remove expired medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist
  • Wipe down and organize ingredient containers
  • Ensure organization and cleanliness around the garbing cart and sinks
  • Document inventory intake and ensure stock availability of ingredients and equipment
  • Perform additional cleaning and stocking tasks, including but not limited to stocking inventory, cleaning floors, cleaning inside hoods as needed per USP 795 and USP 800 guidelines, and maintaining and documenting the daily and monthly cleaning tasks
  • Help maintain and move lab equipment as needed
  • Sort and file records
  • Comply with Pharmacy procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and work area.
