Job description

Receives and restocks pharmaceutical products, maintains and audits established inventory control processes, and assists pharmacy purchasers to ensure that medications are available to meet patient and family needs. For outpatient, prepares medication prepacks, performs clerical duties, checks medication stock for expiration, and maintains cleanliness of drug storage. Provides excellent customer service on the phone and at the pharmacy window.

Required Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Required Credentials

Registered Pharmacy Assistant in the State of Washington.

Preferred

Experience with reconciliation of purchase order form and packing slip. Experience with bar code scanning verification. Experience receiving and stocking medications in hospital setting. Experience ordering medications from drug wholesaler. Experience with basic computer functions and Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual language skills for outpatient position.

Compensation Range

$21.30 - $30.33 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
