Job summary

TTUHSC, a leading health sciences center, invites applications for a 12-month faculty appointment in pharmacy education. The role includes didactic, laboratory, and case-based teaching, plus experiential instruction within our Pharm.D. curriculum.

An emphasis on clinical practice (about 50% time) will involve inpatient adult care at UT Southwestern and related centers. New faculty receive mentorship and support for teaching, research, and scholarship, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Completion of PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 residency in adult medicine, internal medicine, or equivalent experience.
• Eligibility for Texas pharmacist licensure.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teaching activities including didactic, laboratory, and case/simulation-based sessions.
• Provide experiential instruction within the Pharm.D. curriculum.
• Clinical practice responsibilities (~50% time) focusing on inpatient adult medicine at affiliated centers.
• Engage in scholarship and service aligned with department and school goals.
