Job Summary

CoverMyMeds LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy operations. This role involves assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescription medications, including counting, pouring, measuring, and labeling.
• Process prescription orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist customers with their prescription needs, answer basic questions, and direct more complex inquiries to the pharmacist.
• Process transactions, handle cash, and maintain accurate records of sales.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations and policies related to pharmacy practice.
• Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a similar healthcare support role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
