Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support the pharmacy by maintaining supplies, handling billing and filing, and assisting the pharmacist on duty.

The role is entry-level; responsibilities include counting, labeling and dispensing prescriptions, managing inventory, and assisting with transactions. WA license and high school diploma are required; prior retail pharmacy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Assistant license from the Washington State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum one year of previous work experience in a retail pharmacy preferred.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $18.51 - $25.47 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
