Job summary

Nexus Health Systems is seeking an Ancillary Applications Analyst – Pharmacy to oversee MEDITECH pharmacy and medication management applications across multiple Nexus campuses in Houston and surrounding areas. The role focuses on translating clinical requirements into system configurations and ensuring safe, efficient medication workflows.

The position requires hands-on MEDITECH pharmacy experience, with Expanse expertise strongly preferred, and will involve on-site work at the Houston corporate

Qualifications

• Hands-on MEDITECH pharmacy application experience required.
• Experience with MEDITECH Expanse strongly preferred.
• Pharmacy informatics or hospital pharmacy operations exposure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary pharmacy applications lead for MEDITECH modules across Nexus facilities.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot MEDITECH pharmacy systems and dictionaries in Client/Server and Expanse environments.
• Develop and execute test scripts for pharmacy modules and interfaces; support user acceptance testing.
• Lead cutover planning, go-live coverage, and post-live stabilization of medication workflows.
• Provide training and education on MEDITECH updates, priority packs, and version enhancements.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy, Nursing, and Medical Staff to translate requirements into system configuration.
