Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree (Pharm.D) or equivalent; TX licensure within 90 days preferred.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1/PGY2 residency or equivalent experience required or six years of pharmacist experience with leadership.
• Active TX pharmacist license within 90 days and BLS certification within 90 days; PPC Pharmacist Preceptor Cert within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality management and performance improvement initiatives in specialty focus areas.
• Participate in staff development and intradepartmental educational programs.
• Lead and supervise major pharmacy service areas and coordinate with hospital committees.
