Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. is seeking a Pharmacovigilance - Operations & Global Process Enablement Intern for a 10-12 week paid internship in a hybrid setup.

You will collaborate with global teams to improve PV policies, processes, and standards, and contribute to AI-enabled process improvements that support audits and inspections. Ideal candidates are current undergraduates or graduates in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Public Health, or related fields, with strong analytical and

Strong interest in pharmacovigilance, technology, and process improvement.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Experience with artificial intelligence is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to enhance and maintain PV policies, processes and standards at a global level.
Lead process improvements in areas such as document creation and training initiatives leveraging AI and advanced technology.
Support global audits and inspections; partner strategy and management; governance for PV data in the global safety database.
Participate in meetings with global colleagues and contribute to projects impacting patient safety worldwide.
Help implement and continuously improve global PV processes, policies and standards, using AI tools where applicable.
