Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacology with at least two years of pharmacology teaching experience in professional programs.
• Commitment to undergraduate and graduate education and student success.
• Evidence of teaching excellence.
• Record of scholarly activities commensurate with an academic appointment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic and laboratory instruction in pharmacology across graduate, undergrad and PharmD programs.
• Use the university LMS to post syllabi, assignments and communicate with students.
• Advise students through office hours or scheduled appointments.
• Offer electives in area of expertise for graduate and PharmD programs.
• Mentor students on research and contribute to scholarly activities.
• Contribute to periodic reviews and revisions of course offerings.
• Participate in service and committee activities and engage with professional organizations.
