Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking experienced computational biologists and bioinformaticians to train AI models by designing realistic analysis tasks, running them through frontier AI agents, and grading the outputs to a professional standard.

You will write clear scoring rubrics and identify concrete failures with evidence, applying knowledge in genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and multiomics to ensure results are valid and useful.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on analyzing real biological data in industry, academia, or research institutions (counted after undergraduate study).
• Ability to write, debug, and explain analysis code in Python and/or R (one required, both preferred).
• Experience with multiomics or population/genetic analyses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic analysis tasks from your workflows, including prompts and necessary files.
• Run tasks through frontier AI agents and grade the deliverables against professional standards.
• Write clear grading rubrics and explain why a result passes or fails.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence (batch effects, incorrect tests, misused references, or dropped samples).
