Job summary

Jackson PharmacyPros in Oklahoma City is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a contract assignment to ensure safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to patients with a range of physical and mental health challenges.

The role includes rotating schedules and on-call shifts, with comprehensive benefits and relocation/travel support for traveling pharmacists exploring new locations nationwide.

Qualifications

• State license to practice pharmacy in applicable state.
• 6 months pharmacist experience preferred.
• Registered Pharmacist license in state(s) of practice.
• 2 years recent acute-care experience or 1 year home infusion experience.
• Experience with compounding infused drugs.
• Ability to evaluate and monitor drug therapies for home care patients.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and thoughtful distribution of medications for patients with diverse health challenges.
• Perform clinical review of drug therapies in home care setting.
• Be available for on-call evenings and weekend shifts as scheduled.

Job description

We’re hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have State License to Apply
• 6 months Pharmacist experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
• Registered Pharmacist License in state(s) of practice
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in an acute-care setting or one (1) year of recent experience in home infusion therapy
• Experience with compounding infused drugs
• Proven record of evaluating and monitoring drug therapies for home care patients
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work on-call evenings and weekends on an as-scheduled basis

Assignment Details

• Rotating schedules: M-F 8:30-5:30, 8-5, and 9-6
• Scheduled on-call shifts from Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 8:30 AM, typically once a month
