Job summary

Jackson PharmacyPros is hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract role to ensure safe distribution of medications for patients with varying health challenges. The position requires state licensure, a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, and certifications including BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Experience with EPIC and Pyxis, IV certification, and sterile compounding ability are required. Shifts include early morning to evening hours with rotating coverage and potential overnight duties.

Qualifications

• State license to practice pharmacist in Texas.
• 6 months pharmacist experience preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree required.
• Texas state pharmacist licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications (AHA) required.
• Competency with EPIC and Pyxis required.
• IV certification required.
• Ability to mix sterile compounds when needed.
• Ability to monitor and adjust pharmacokinetics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and thoughtful distribution of medications.
• Cover rotating shifts including mornings and evenings.
• Assist with holiday and overnight coverage.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 0730-1600, 0800-1630, and 1400-2230
• Rotating shifts required
• Availability to help cover holiday shifts
• Availability to help cover overnight shifts as needed
