Job summary

Jackson PharmacyPros is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a contract position to apply clinical expertise in safe medication distribution across diverse health settings in Colorado. You’ll support COVID- and non-COVID- related care with a focus on patient safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• State license to practice pharmacy
• 6 months pharmacist experience preferred
• Colorado Pharmacist License
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Experience with sterile compounding
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations

Responsibilities

• Cover hospital service areas including ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath, and hospice
• Variable 10-hour shifts between 0600 and 2200
• On-call required one night weekly
• Use EPIC for charting
• Use Pyxis for medication dispensing

Job description

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have State License to Apply
• 6 months Pharmacist experience preferred
• Colorado Pharmacist License
• BLS (AHA)
• Experience with sterile compounding
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations

Assignment Details

• Variable 10-hour shifts between 0600 and 2200
• Every other weekend required
• On-call required one night weekly
• May cover all hospital service areas including ER, ICU, inpatient, imaging, cath, and hospice
• Charting system: EPIC
• Medication dispensing system: Pyxis
