Chartwell Infusion Pharmacy in Oakdale is seeking a full-time Pharmacist Specialist to join our team. The role covers centralized and decentralized medication-use systems to optimize therapy and ensure safety. The schedule rotates weekly with daylight and evening shifts; Week 1 8:00-4:30 or 7:00-3:30, Week 2 12:30-9:00.

You'll supervise staff, ensure compliance, and provide education. You will engage in pharmacy informatics, sterile compounding, medication safety, and quality initiatives,

Responsabilités

• Interpret and evaluate orders and prescriptions to dispense appropriate medications per laws.
• Identify and report suspected adverse drug reactions promptly.
• Sustain formulary by minimizing non-formulary procurements and promoting rational therapy.
• Review patient medication records for allergies and interactions.
• Organize daily operations and assist supervision of pharmacy staff.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and hospital quality policies.
• Communicate with physicians and nurses to clarify orders.
• Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and learners.
• Utilize computer systems in pharmaceutical care.
• Fill prescriptions in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Prepare intravenous adjunctions using aseptic technique.
