Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a pharmacist to provide patient-focused clinical services and expert counseling. You will educate patients, administer immunizations, and support medication therapy management with an emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year retail pharmacy experience including prescription filling, verification, records and insurance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.

The Salary below is being provided to promote pay transparency and equal employment opportunities at Walgreens. The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. Salary Range: Pharmacist - $60.90/hr-$82.30/hr
