Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy consulting and patient education. Responsibilities include immunizations, medication management, and ensuring safety through accurate dispensing.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing toBecome an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Salary Range: Pharmacist - $60.90/hr-$82.30/hr
