Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Mississippi or eligible for licensure; must be licensed prior to hire.
• Possession of a controlled substance license or eligible for licensure; must be licensed prior to hire.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals for patient care including compounding, dispensing and labeling.
• Act as consultant to medical and nursing staff; maintain prescription records.
• Perform duties per hospital policies and regulatory requirements governing pharmacy operations.
• Duties may be added/changed; management reserves right to modify responsibilities.
