  • Onsite requirement: must commute to the pharmacy location.
  • Tools: Proficient in pharmacy management software and tools.

Job Description

As a Fulfillment (Dispensing) Pharmacist at Alto Pharmacy, you will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately and on time, while supporting a team of technicians, inventory specialists, and packers. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize patient care, drive efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of Alto Pharmacy.

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately. Provide patient counseling on the safe use of medications, side effects, and drug interactions to walk-in patients.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

  • Help manage pharmacy inventory to ensure timely availability of medications.

  • Mentor and support pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: PharmD or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

  • Licensure: Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy.

  • Industry Experience: Experience working in retail, hospital, outpatient, or fulfillment pharmacy settings.

  • Experience providing patient counseling.

  • Ability to work the following shift: 1-2 shifts per week. The pharmacy is open 7 days per week.

  • Onsite Requirement: Must be able to commute to and work at the pharmacy location during scheduled shifts.

  • Tools: Proficient in pharmacy management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of licensed Pharmacist experience.

Additional Physical Job Requirements:

Work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 50 pounds. Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $57.60-72.00/hr

  • Travel: ` This is an in-pharmacy position.

  • Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in AZ, AR, CA, CO, FL, KS, MD, MO, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, WA, and WI.

  • Benefits:As a part-time, as-needed employee of the Company, you are eligible for all legally mandated benefits, including, but not limited to, paid sick time, workers’ compensation insurance and unemployment insurance. The benefits team will review hours worked twice a year (early June and early December). If you meet the hours requirements, you may be eligible to participate in Alto’s medical, dental and vision insurance for at least six months. Please note that the Company may modify any of its offered benefits at any time, with or without notice to you, except as required by law.
