Job summary

Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation - Temple is seeking a Pharmacist PRN for our inpatient hospital setting. You will oversee drug distribution, central operations, and IV admixture while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role includes clinical support, maintaining adequate drug supplies, patient counseling on discharge meds, and contributing to new employee training and quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Responsibilities

• Having a working knowledge of drug distribution systems, central operations and IV admixture.
• Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast paced environment.
• Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Informing and instructing patients on drugs after discharge.
• Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.
• Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency.

• Inpatient Pharmacy experience
