Qualifying candidates must hold a PharmD and be licensed in Missouri and Kansas, with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance and patient service.

Qualifications

• Requires Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school.
• Licensed in Missouri and Kansas.
• Pharmacist PRN with full license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medications according to physician orders and regulations.
• Performs drug utilization reviews and monitors interactions and allergies.
• Provides patient counseling and handles medication-related questions.
• Oversees technician workflow and ensures correct labeling and packaging.
• Ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations, controlled-substance rules, safety, and infection control.
• Assists with inventory management including recalls and stock checks.
• Collaborates with providers on dosing, formulary changes, and substitutions.
• Maintains licensure and pharmacy records; performs other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a PRN Pharmacist to work:

• September 11, 2026-September 25, 206 (Full-Time)
• Every Tuesday
• Additional shifts as needed to provide vacation and leave coverage.

Duties

• Prepares and dispenses medications in accordance with physician orders, pharmacy standards, and applicable state and federal laws.
• Performs drug utilization reviews, verifies technician order entry and medication preparation, and identifies therapeutic incompatibilities, allergies, and other medication-related concerns.
• Provides patient counseling and assists with medication-related questions and customer service concerns.
• Oversees technician workflow and verifies prescription preparation, labeling, and packaging.
• Maintains compliance with pharmacy regulations, controlled-substance requirements, safety procedures, and infection‑control standards.
• Assists with inventory management, including recalls, expired medications, and medication counts.
• Collaborates with providers and pharmacy staff regarding dosing, formulary changes, therapeutic substitutions, and evidence-based medication interventions.
• Maintains professional licensure and required pharmacy records and completes other duties as assigned.
